We build tools for Kazakhstan's students and schools
ORTA is a Kazakh edtech team building apps for students and schools. Our goal is to make school and student life simple, transparent and safe.
Why we're building ORTA
ORTA grew out of watching the everyday life of students and schools in Kazakhstan: schedules scattered across different places, grades and homework lost in chats, and school leadership without a clear picture.
That's why we built two products: ORTA Student for students and ORTA School for schools. Both are designed in Kazakh first and maintained by the same team.
What we believe in
Data safety
We collect student and parent data, but we never sell it to third parties or use it for advertising.
Kazakh-first
The interface is designed in Kazakh first, then translated into Russian and English.
No ads
There is no advertising in our apps, and there never will be — we don't sell data to advertisers, only useful features.
Transparency
School administrators can track changes in the system through an audit log.
What's next
Android app
ORTA Student and ORTA School will become available on Android devices too.
Push notifications
We'll make notifications about grades, assignments and messages even faster.
More regions
We'll bring ORTA School to schools in more cities and regions of Kazakhstan.
